"By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God." - Hebrews 11:9-10

Conceived and designed by Danish architect Jorn Utzon, the Sydney Opera House is Sydney's most famous landmark and one of the most distinctive structures in the world.

The Opera House model alone took seven years to build and 17 years to complete the actual building.

This UNESCO World Heritage site rests close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Royal Botanic Gardens.
